How many subjects are there in JAC Class 10?
Six subjects in total — Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science and Social Science are the five core/compulsory subjects, plus one elective language (Sanskrit or Urdu, depending on the school).
What is the marks split for each Class 10 subject?
Every subject carries 100 marks — 80 for the written theory paper and 20 for internal assessment/practical, following the 30% objective + 50% subjective + 20% internal "30-50-20" marking formula.
Are Class 10 Social Science chapters the same as CBSE's?

Who prepares the JAC Class 10 syllabus?
The Jharkhand Council of Educational Research & Training (JCERT) prepares the syllabus in line with the NCERT curriculum, and the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC), Ranchi conducts the Matric board exam based on it.
